Two Stargazing Chefs

As a child on holiday with his parents, Jacob Jan Boerma would read the Michelin Guide in the back of the car, daydreaming of one day becoming a Michelin-starred chef himself. His hard work and dedication paid off, and he opened De Leest in Vaassen in 2002, which is where he earned a total of three Michelin stars.
The rest is history!

The Most Exciting Pairing

Thomas Diepersloot was also bitten by the cooking bug at a young age, and was living in Asia by the time he was 17 where he gained valuable experience in top restaurants. Although trained as a classic French chef, his travels led him to discover new styles and possibilities. Back in the Netherlands, he worked for Jacob at the De Leest, then at Restaurant Voltaire, which is where he earned a Michelin star.

Needless to say, when Jacob Jan Boerma met Thomas Diepersloot, they clicked straight away – Fine Fleur is the culmination of their successful careers.
